 High School Bio:

            Bullard played football three years and was captain of his team. Statistics showed Rick carried the ball 92 times for 725 yards and scored 10 touchdowns. He was named to All-County, All-State, Honorable Mention All-American, Sylacauga Back of the Year, Birmingham Post-Herald Back of the Week twice.

The first football game played by a high school team in Alabama was in 1892 when Central Birmingham (Phillips) lost to Alabama 56-0 on November 11.
