High School Bio:
Sasser scored 22 touchdowns and amassed 1,585 yards rushing as a senior at T.R. Miller. Against rival Escambia County he scored five touchdowns and rushed for 202 yards including a 72 yard run in a 39-6 rout of the Blue Devils. He was Captain of the Class AA All State Team, Honorable Mention All American, Most Valuable Athlete at T. R. Miller High. He also played basketball and baseball, and was a track man. He played three years of varsity football. He was captain of his squad.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
The Tuscaloosa Black Bears were considered one of the best programs in the nation from 1925-1931. Their record over that span was an amazing 61-0-3.
