 High School Bio:

            Pinkard was captain of his squad in 1964 and Most Outstanding Lineman on his team in 1964. He was voted on the Border Conference Team of 1964 and was selected twice on the Team Lineman of the Week. He also played baseball. His specialty was linebacker and kick-off. He intercepted 4 passes in 1964.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
