 High School Bio:

            Childs played varsity football three years at Sidney Lanier High School, Montgomery, and was captain of his squad. His specialty was place kicking and statistics show 30 points out of 37 tries. Athletic honors include All State, Honorable Mention All Southern and Honorable Mention All American. He also played baseball.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

From 1947 until his retirement in 1992 Glenn Daniel's teams won 302 games at Pine Hill and Luverne. He was the winningest coach in state history until 2010.
