 High School Bio:

            Slyhoffs specialty was pass receiving, scored nine touchdowns during the 1965 season, eight on passes, and one on a blocked kick. He played end on the Sylacauga team. He was All-State (two years), All-Talladega County (three years), Post-Herald Lineman of the Week in 65, received the Quarterback Club Award, and was voted Most Valuable Lineman. He also participated in track.
