 High School Bio:

            Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery Center and Linebacker was named All-State football, 1966-67; Honorable Mention, 1965-66. He was Captain of his squad. He played baseball during his three years of high school. His specialty was linebacker (defense).





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
