            He played four years of varsity football and was Captain of his squad. As a senior, he threw 99 passes and completed 49 for 717 yards; in rushing he carried 94 times for 842 yards. He was All-County Football; All-County Basketball (2 years); Most Valuable Player; All-District (2 years); All-Sand Mountain; All-County baseball (3 years).
