 High School Bio:

            Hand played three years of varsity football and was Captain of his squad. Last year he made eight touchdowns; 186 carries; gained 860 yards; caught 21 passes for 200 yards. Mike was All-State; All-Tennessee Valley Conference; All- Quad City; Honorable Mention All-Southern; Honorable Mention All-American Prep. He also played basketball and ran track.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
