 High School Bio:

            Banks High School in Birmingham End and Halfback. He was All-City; All-Metro of Jefferson County; Voted on Second Team All-State; Member of State Championship 4A Track 440 Yd. Relay Team. He caught 18 passes and made 14 yards per carry. He rushed for 8.4 yards per carry.

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
