 High School Bio:

            Shades Valley Tackle played three years on the varsity team. He was All-County; All-Metro (1966). His specialty was punting and place kicking. He punted ten times for an average of 38.5 yards per kick as a junior. His senior season saw him punt 14 times for an average of 49.6 yards.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
