 High School Bio:

            Smith played four years of football and was Captain of his team. In his three years he scored twenty-one touchdowns, and made 2,990 yards rushing. He was All-County for two years; Honorable Mention All-State; Best Athlete of Collinsville High School- 1966-67. In basketball he was All-County; All-Area; Honorable Mention All-State.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
