 High School Bio:

            Valley Center and Linebacker. He was Valleys Most Outstanding Lineman at the Homecoming game; All Border Conference Team; He was the-Most valuable Player in Area Four of Class 3A Tournament in basketball; All-Valley Team. He played both offense and defense. He made, in 1967, 175 individual tackles, 84 assists. He played four years of varsity football at Valley.

In 1969 the two point conversion was adopted for play following a touchdown. Until that time all conversions were worth one point.
