High School Bio:
McCormicks specialty was "Kicking Off". He played varsity football four years and was Captain of his squad. He was Outstanding Lineman for Colbert County in 1966-67; Super All-Star Team; Received the Dr. Pepper award for being Outstanding lineman of North Alabama. He received three trophies in basketball for the best percentage of free throws, most rebounds. He was MMP in 1966; All-Area Tournament Team at Athens. In baseball he was elected three years to the East-West All-Star Team.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Thomasville scored 54 points against Gulf Shores in the first quarter of a game in 2003. They managed to hang on for an 81-14 win.
