Kale was voted the Best Back of 1967; All-Conference Team; All-Star Baseball Team; 4th in State in Pole Vault. His specialty was kick offs and punts. He played baseball and basketball and ran track. His pass receiving record was 21 receptions for 340 yards for two touchdowns; in 15 carries he made 90 yards.
