 High School Bio:

            Cheaves played three years of varsity football and his specialty was "Defense". He was Captain of his squad. He was voted Most Valuable Player; Most Valuable Lineman (1968); All-State, All-NEAC; All-County (1967-68). He likes to wrestle.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
