 High School Bio:

            Collins played varsity football for three years and was Captain of the senior squad. He was AII-TVC; Squad Tri-Captain; Winner of Scholastic Award Trophy For Athlete with Highest Grade Average; Winner of Trophy For Most Points In Track. He was the schools record holder in the 220 and 440 dashes. In his senior year he caught 11 passes for 321 yards and 3 touchdowns in eight games.

Alabama School for the Deaf won Deaf School National Championships in 1971, 1987, 1991, 2000, 2001 and 2002.
