 High School Bio:

            Mesaris played basketball and baseball, too. He lettered in football for two years; Honorable Mention; All-State. He played two years of varsity football and was Co-Captain of his squad. He completed 65 of 133 passes in 11 games in 1967 for 1,181 yards and 14 touchdowns, rushed 71 times for 411 yards and 2 touchdowns.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
