 High School Bio:

            St. Jude High School, Montgomery Back was Co-Holder and Outstanding Athlete. He also played baseball and basketball. He has had four years of varsity football and was Co-Captain of his squad. His specialty was Kick-Off; Punt and Kick-Off Return. He carried 45 times for a gain of 548 yards (12.1 average); 11 touchdowns; 12 catches; 355 yards gained, 8 touchdowns. His total offense gain was 903 yards.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
