 High School Bio:

            Childersburg High School flanker. Johnny played four years of varsity football and was Captain of his team. He was the Back of the Year (67 & 68); Most Valuable Player (68); Second team All-State. He played baseball, also. He will go to Auburn University this fall. His specialties were pass receiver and punter. He scored 13 touchdowns, caught 26 passes for 413 yards. He intercepted 6 passes for the season, ran for 471 yards in 90 carries-- averaging 5.2 per carry.

Hamilton shutout an amazing 14 consecutive opponents from 1928-1930. A streak that will never be matched in modern football.
