 High School Bio:

            Russellville High School quarterback played 3 years of varsity football and his specialty was punting. He was All-Area; All-State; Thorn McAn Award. He was runner-up to the Most Valuable Player in Alabama. He was All-Area in basketball. He completed 37 of 83 passes for 4,590 yards; passed for 758 yards and threw 10 touchdown passes; ran 90 times for 293 yards and 6 touchdowns; punted 37.6 per punt. Watson quarterbacked his team to the Class 3A state championship as a senior.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Homewood defeated Benjamin Russell in five overtimes during the Class 5A Super Six state championship game in 2000.
