 High School Bio:

            Benjamin Russell High School quarterback played three years of varsity football for his coach, Charles Lee, and was Captain of his squad. He was All-Conference; All-State, Prep Honorable All-American; Most Valuable Back on team. He also participated basketball and track.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
