Spivey received the Jimmy Hitchcock Award, and was named to the Football All-City, All-State, All-Southern, All-American Teams, and was the Montgomery Quarterback Club Most Valuable Player. He was co-captain of his squad last season. In 12 games his record is: 1,380 yards total offense, 1,333 yards rushing, 39.5 yards per kick, and 160 points.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Thomasville scored 54 points against Gulf Shores in the first quarter of a game in 2003. They managed to hang on for an 81-14 win.
