 High School Bio:

            Massingill was coached by Bill Doty on the varsity team and was captain of his squad. He was All-Area, All-TVC, All-State, All-Southern Honorable Mention, 3A Most Valuable Back, and his school Most Valuable Offensive Back. His statistics are: rushing - times carried ball 165; net yards gained 1,122; average 6.8; scored 102 points.

Etowah defeated Oxford 69-63 in 1991 to set a state record for most points scored by both teams in a playoff game.
