 High School Bio:

            McCollough played varsity football 4 years and also participated in basketball, baseball, and track. He was Honorable Mention All-State in 1967, All-Border Conference three years, Outstanding Player Homecoming three years, All Valley three years, All-State 1st Team in 1969, and received the Headhunter Award in 1968. In 123 times carried ball, he gained 754 yards, averaging 5.7 yards per carry.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
