 High School Bio:

            Powell played center and linebacker on the varsity football team 4 years. He was team captain during his senior year. He was Best Offensive Lineman 2 years and was on the All-South Alabama Conference and All-State Teams last year. He lettered in baseball 4 years.

Clay County shutout an amazing eleven opponents in 1996. The Panthers outscored their opponents 613-42 finishing the season 15-0.
