 High School Bio:

            Played varsity football three years and was team captain. Specialty was deep snap and extra point. Earned Post-Herald Player of the Week, Quarterback Club Offensive Player of the Week, Quarterback Club Defensive Player, Most Valuable Offensive Player of 1970-71, Most Valuable Offensive Lineman honors and also received the T.W. Tawbush Award for Leadership.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Hazlewood won five consecutive state championships from 1988-1992. During this span the Golden Bears won 29 playoff games in a row.
