 High School Bio:

            Played tight end on the varsity football team three years. Earned Best Offensive Lineman Award, All-Conference and All-State honors. Led his conference in pass receptions; 17 receptions for 512 yards and 12 touchdowns.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
