Brogdon rushed for 1,083 yards on 153 carries and scored 10 touchdowns on offense his senior season at Decatur. On defense, he intercepted nine passes. Played tailback and safety on the varsity football team three years; also participated in basketball, baseball and track. Earned All-Morgan County, All-T.V.C., All-State Honorable Mention All-American in football; and in basketball elected Most Valuable Player by his team and also in the county.
