            Played fullback on the varsity football team three years; also lettered in baseball and basketball. Was captain of his squad in 1970-71, earned All-Conference, All-County, Most Valuable Back and Most Valuable Player honors for two years. Rushed for 850 yards, averaging 5.4, in 1971.
