 High School Bio:

            Played guard and tackle on the varsity football team three years. Also participated on track and wrestling teams. Earned Defensive Lineman of the Year Award, $100 scholarship from Daily Ledger of Enterprise, Honorable Mention All-State Football Team.

The first football game played by a high school team in Alabama was in 1892 when Central Birmingham (Phillips) lost to Alabama 56-0 on November 11.
