 High School Bio:

            Played split end on the varsity football team at Shaw for three years and was a team captain. Earned All-County, team MVP, Lineman of the Week twice, All-American and All-State. He caught 28 passes for 689 yards as a senior for the Rebels.

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
