 High School Bio:

            Played linebacker and defensive end on the varsity football team for three years at Athens and was a 1973 team captain. Earned All-State, All-Tennessee Valley Conference, Prep All-American Yearbook honors. He was also named Best Blocker and Head Hunter at Athens.
