Nathan rushed for 1,450 yards and scored a record 142 points in leading Woodlawn. He scored 44 points in a 61-12 victory against Ramsay by scoring seven touchdowns. In the state championship game against Banks he ran for 112 yards on 31 carries and a touchdown but the Colonels lost the game to Jeff Rutledge and the Jets 18-7.
