            Burrow played tight end at Ramsay. Mike was captain of his team for 2 years. He also excelled in baseball, track, and basketball. He has been a varsity football player for 3 years.

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
