            Played quarterback on team for 4 years and was captain of team. Earned All-Talladega County twice, All-Northeast Alabama Conference twice, All-State - 75, All-American - 75. He passed 61 of 90 for 912 yards for 11 touchdowns and rushed 101 attempts for 508 yards for 7 touchdowns.
