            Played halfback on varsity team for 2 years and was captain of team. Earned All-State, Birmingham News & Post Herald Team Most Valuable Player. Gained 2,057 yards in 280 carries for 7 touchdowns. Gained 200 yards in 6 games.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
