            Played linebacker on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned All-Southwest Conference Linebacker and Most valuable Defensive Back on team. As linebacker in 1976-77 had 118 tackles, 78 assists, 3 interceptions and 2 block punts; scored 5 touchdowns as a fullback.
