            Played defensive back and quarterback on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned Most Valuable Player, All-State, All Tennessee Valley Conference. Set school record for most points scored in career, 134; for points scored in a single season, 84; for most yards gained in a single season, 1,743; most yards gained in a career, 2,951; 46 pass completions out of 108 attempts for 806 yards, 14 touchdowns rushing, passed for 4 touchdowns, 25 kicks for 35.7 average, and 53 tackles and 18 assists.
