            Played defensive tackle on varsity for 3 years. Earned All-City, All-State, Super All-State, All-South, All-American, Adidas-AII-American, and Whos Who in Athletics. Had 115 tackles and 80 assists, recovered 10 fumbles, and 27 quarterback sacks.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1925 Langdale tied a record by defeating Milltown 125-0. Hamilton had set the record by thrashing Fayette 125-0 in 1915.
