Played fullback on varsity for 4 years and was captain, Earned Most Valuable Player, All-State, All SAC, Super All-State, and All-Southern. In 1976 had 2,200 yards rushing for 26 touchdowns, averaging 7.3 yards per carry. He played in 38 straight games and surpassed the 5,000 yards rushing mark while scoring 60 touchdowns.
Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History
Thomasville scored 54 points against Gulf Shores in the first quarter of a game in 2003. They managed to hang on for an 81-14 win.
