            Played middle guard on varsity for 3 years. Earned Birmingham News All-State, Montgomery Advertiser All-State, Tuscaloosa News Lineman of Week, and Tuscaloosa News Super 11 Team. Averaged 11 unassisted tackles and made 33 quarterback sacks for senior year.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

The first night game played between high school teams in the state occurred on September 23, 1927 when Pike Road and Cloverdale met in the Cramton Bowl in Montgomery.
