 High School Bio:

            Bush scored 12 touchdowns and specialized in kickoff and punt returns in his last two seasons at Anniston. Played split end on varsity for 3 years. Earned All-County, All-Region, All-State Birmingham News and Advertiser Journal. Had 30 receptions and 8 touchdowns for junior year and in 4 games his senior year made 4 touchdowns and 14 receptions.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
