 High School Bio:

            Played running back and linebacker on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned All County, All State, MVP, and Outstanding Offensive Running Back. Averaged 6.5 yards a carry, 115 individual tackles, 11 per game.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
