            Played fullback and linebacker on varsity for 3 years and was captain. Earned Most Valuable Freshman, All Quad-Cities team, All TVC team, Most Valuable Back, Leading Rusher, All time leading rusher and scorer. Rushed for 2,552 yards with 432 attempts.

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
