 High School Bio:

            Played tight end on varsity for 2 years and was captain. Earned All County, All State Second- Team, All Independent, and Vestavias MVP in 4A State Championship Game, also voted Vestavias Best Offensive Lineman. Attempted 63 passes, 36 completed, 673 yards average per game with 8 touchdowns.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Luverne 'Toad' Wise was the first female football player in Alabama and may have been the first in the country. She was a kicker for the Escambia County Blue Devils in 1939-40.
