            Played halfback on varsity for 5 years and was captain. Earned All County, All Area, All State, Hustler Award, MVP and Most Valuable Back. Rushed for 1,150 yards with an average of 8 unassisted tackles.

Collinsville completed the 1931 season with a record of 1-4-5. The five ties will forever be a state record since all games are now decided by overtime.
