 High School Bio:

            Wimberly started three years at Jackson and rushed for 2,600 yards while scoring 32 touchdowns. As a senior he rushed for over 1,000 yards. He was named Most Outstanding Offensive Player and team MVP. Wimberly was also named honorable mention All-State.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

In 1970 Monroe Academy won the first championship in the A.I.S.A. by defeating Lowndes Academy 6-0.
