 High School Bio:

            Bobby was an outstanding running back at Glenn high school. He gained over all-purpose 7,000 yards during a stellar career. In his senior season he ran for 1,051 yards and had 539 yards receiving. He averaged 18.3 yards on punt returns and 26.3 on his kickoff returns. He also scored 13 touchdowns for a team that finished 2-8. On defense he recorded 128 tackles his senior season. In a game against Jones Valley he gained a staggering 303 yards on just 14 carries, including an 82 yard touchdown. As a junior he caught 34 passes.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Morris Higginbotham coached three different teams to divisional state championships in the 1950s. He won titles at Walnut Grove in 1952, West Blocton in 1955 and Enterprise in 1960.
