 High School Bio:

            Phillip was rated as the number one place-kicker in the nation his senior year. He set national records with 43 career field goals and 22 in a single season. As a junior he made 22 of 27 field goal attempts and scored 86 points. As a senior he made 10 of 14 field goals and 19 of 20 extra points. He had kicks of 51 and 52 yards. In his junior year he kicked six field goals longer than 45 yards. He also played linebacker and wide receiver for Huffman.





Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Foley outscored their opponents 433-6 in 1961. The Lions were named state champions by the Alabama Sports Writers Association that season.
