 High School Bio:

            Fuqua played quarterback and defensive back for Colbert County. Under his field leadership the Indians finished the season 10-4 and reached the Class 4A semifinals. He didnt play quarterback until his senior season but responded with over 1,000 yards passing on a team known for running the football. He completed 54 of 114 passes and 11 touchdowns. He also rushed for 585 yards and five more touchdowns. On defense he registered 122 tackles and had eight interceptions.




Great Moments in Alabama High School Football History

Homewood defeated Benjamin Russell in five overtimes during the Class 5A Super Six state championship game in 2000.
